I believe transformation is possible.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #116108) specializing in the following: Anxiety, Trauma, Abuse (sexual, verbal, physical, spiritual), Long-term depth work for insight and understanding of self, Grief, Sexual Issues, Spiritual Exploration and Identity, Vocational Development, Artist Recovery, Story Work and Integration
I graduated in 2011 with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. My program leaned heavily on trauma therapy as well as the art and practice of psychotherapy. My therapeutic mind has been informed by Dr. Dan Allender’s theories of narrative development and Dr. Roy Barsness’ focus on relational psychoanalysis.
During my graduate studies I completed a one-year internship in the student counseling center at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. Upon graduating I worked for two years at The Seattle School as a Practicum Facilitator aiding incoming graduate students in their development as therapists in addition to beginning my private practice. I continue my development as a therapist receiving ongoing clinical supervision in psychoanalytic theories.
Growing up as kid on the beaches of northeastern Florida I have an immense love for the ocean. I moved to San Diego to bring myself and my story to the waters edge. In between sessions you can often find me surfing, hiking or riding my Vespa soaking up the California sun.
